We found out yesterday that DD will need glasses. We let her pick out her glasses and she seems very excited. With being pg now, I wear my glasses all the time we DH and I are talking it up big saying that now she gets to be part of the "cool" glasses club. However, I am worried about wearing them at daycare (more so playing out on the playground). I was 9 or 10 when I first got glasses, so I understood the need to be careful, etc. I am thinking about trying to find some kind of strap for just at daycare. Any parents of young children have some words of wisdom or tricks of the trade?

Re: Glasses
My son has had his glasses since age 2.
He has regular kid wire framed glasses that are very flexible. He's smashed his face into walls, worn them to karate, soccer, play ground, etc and has never had a problem with them falling off or beco
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
DD1 has had them since she turned 3. She has plastic frames and they have never broken other than the one time DD2 snapped them in half! DD1 is pretty rough but they just stay on her and it's never been an issue. I don't think she'd need a strap at 4.
