How hard is it for you to put a teething baby to bed?

My son is 8mo and JUST sprouted his first tooth! Leading up to that tooth his night sleep habits were rough.

Just curious how hard it is for others to put the LO to bed while teething? What have you found to work best? Any suggestions help!

We've tried extra bottle, cold wet wash cloth, pacifier, tyenol, ambesol, rocking, CIO etc.

Have we missed anything? I know he's got another one coming soon! I feel like we have some catch up work to do with these teeth!

DD has not been more difficult to get to sleep while teething, but keeping her asleep requires us to dose her with Advil before bed. If we forget she will always wake up 3-4hrs after we but her down and then be very cranky, and difficult to get back

Tylenol before bed. Only when he was clearly in pain. If he did happen to wake a small bottle usually got him back to sleep fairly quickly. Teething is difficult. Once you get past that it happens all over again. Good luck

I do the same routine that I always have when LO is teething. She's a champ. If she's particually fussy I'll give her some Tylenol but that's it. I think keeping the routine the same is soothing in and of itself.
