Me and my DH have chosen a name for our little one which we found out is a girl. Name is Emily Elaina S. so now when talking about her I say her name and it just feels weird. Almost like I can't grasp that im really having a girl or something. I haven't really started buying anything so maybe the 'reality' of it will finally sink in!

Very normal! Its hard for it all to sink in. It's even kinda scary once you've picked a name, then you often spend a bunch of time wondering if its right. Give it some time.

It will be weird for a while. It took me a few weeks to start calling my "baby" "babies" when I found out it was twins. I think it is more a habit thing than anything else.

We picked fetal nicknames that will probably follow them through life...

Nope not weird to me. I didn't say DD's name until she was born. And even then I had a hard time accepting that she was really here! This time around, I hope to be less weird about the name.

I felt weird calling DS his name for weeks after he was born.  I think it was just weird that we chose a person's name.  And also the name we chose...
