Hey ladies!!

Because my twins were measuring so differently, the high risk Dr. wanted to run a MaterniT21 test and he called them first to make sure the new testing could be used for twins and then we did the test after he got the ok. I got a call from my OB today saying "the results came in, everything looked normal but it doesn't really tell us anything because it could only be picking up one baby". So, now I'm confused! Has anyone else had this done with twins?!

    I was told it was one of the only tests that had been tested and confirmed to work with twins... That's weird that they would have done it and then told you that.

    I believe that is wrong.  If the test comes back with everything ok, then everything is ok with BOTH babies.  If it comes back saying something is wrong, then you dont' know which baby it is.  You could always call the company, repeat what

    I asked my genetic counselor about this when she called with my NT scan blood results and she said since there are two babies in there the test isnt fully designed (as of now) to pick up on multiple babies and was pointless to do.
