I'm 4m pp and I'm still dealing with a lot of issues that I thought would have gone away by now. The biggest issue for me is the problems in the bathroom... I'm having extremely painful BMs, mild hemeroids still, sharp and hard stools and some tearing. It's so painful that I have started eating less to lessen the frequency of potty breaks. I've never really had tummy troubles until DD was born. I've tried colace, laxatives, suppositories, upping the water intake and I've pretty much cut out all the junk and made an effort to get a lot of fiber. Nothing is helping and I don't know what to do. I have an appointment with the doc next week. But I was hoping that it would jut go away because Id rather not talk about it. Also, I EP and my nipples are STILL crazy tender and sore. I've worked with an LC and tried a million things and nothing helps. Its to the point to where I don't wear a shirt anymore at home because it hurts... I'd really like to start wearing clothes again... It feels like I have road rash on my chest all the time. I've tried every kind of nipple butter or what ever different sizes of flanges, lanocaine spray, OTC pain receivers, Rx motrine, anti fungal, anti biotic, ice, heat EVERYTHING. And nothing is working. I've thought about quitting the pumping, DD had latching probs, but I'm so dead set on giving her BM. If it means I have to be in pain for a year, ill do it, but I'd really rather just find a solution. Also, I'm super grumpy and have NO sex drive what so ever. Not pregnant, I checked. Any thoughts? Has anyone else had PP issues for this long?

I've had similar issues with BM's since giving birth nearly two years ago. I don't know if they stem from how hard I pushed or from my third degree tear. In any case, it was often times more painful to use the bathroom than it was pushing my daughter out

Sorry your going through all of this. Its tough. For the hemorrhoids you should try the preparation h suppository (sounds horrible I know but it works) and tucks wipes.  Once the hemorrhoids are gone that may help with your BMs. Have you talked to

Have your Doc check your Thyroid and Vitamin D levels...  Some of the things you mentioned are some flags for PP Thyroiditis (can be a temporary thing)...  I know when my thyroid levels are off no amount of anything is going to change the con
