Traveling

We are moving across the country in about 6 weeks, and at first I thought my daughter and I would fly while my husband drives the uhaul; however, now I'm thinking it would be a lot of fun for all three of us to drive across the country together. Has anyone else had experience with putting car seats in uhaul trucks/traveling long distances with a 1 year old?

I didn't use a U-haul, but we did about a 14 hour drive. We started off by driving through the night so she slept a lot of the time in the car. If you decide to do it, just be prepared to do a lot of stops to let your LO stretch their legs and do diape

I think this would be miserable.  Does a car seat even fit in the U-haul?  Are you prepared to stop every 2-3 hours across the whole entire country?  Ugh.
