West Chester newbie needs help!

Hi! My H and I are moving back to the Cincinnati area after living in Louisville for almost 4 years. I?m hoping for some recommendations in the West Chester-ish area for family/internal medicine, an OB/Gyn (mainly the OB part- we?ll be trying to get pregnant soon- and would prefer to deliver at Good Sam), and a dentist? I really appreciate your help!

I can only recommend an OBGYN as I do not have any of the others that you are asking for, in your area. I go to For Women Inc, they deliver solely at Good Sam. They have an office in Evendale, which is not terribly far from West Chester. I just delivered at Good Sam on Sunday, and I can not say enough good things about both of my experiences there. I would highly recommend Dr Bowen.  He is located in Fairfield.  Then I would recommend Suburban Pediatrics in Liberty Township.  I live in West Chester and these are my care providers.  I should note Dr Bowen does not deliver at Good Sam but at Bestheda North - Good Sam's sister hospital located in Montgomery which in my case was closer to my home in West Chester than Good Sam.

Also I go to the West Chester Dental Group on West Chester Rd.  great office and staff.  Let me know if you need any other suggestions.

Thank you both very much for the recommendations- I'll definitely check in to all of these offices once we're home an settled! We've very excited to be moving back and to start our family!

Kiki- does Good Sam still have the 13th floor set up as semi-private rooms? Basically two beds to a room with a curtain divider? I really don't like that idea.

They do still have those rooms, but only use them when the single rooms are full. I had a private room each time I delivered there. This weekend I had a room at the end of the hall that was huge and had a panoramic view, everyone kept asking if I knew someone to get that room. It just happened to be the room they put me in, but even my room with my daughter was nice.

I really like my dentist, Dr. Jodie Jenkins on Hamilton-Mason Road. I think I got her name from someone on here a long time ago... I've always had a bit of a phobia about dentistry, and Dr. Jenkins & her staff are very accommodating and cheerful. They've actually got me going in every 6 months now, which is a small miracle for me.

We use dr tran in Cinday road as a dentist. I delivered with for women and I was very happy. Good sam was okay. My labor and delivery suite was incredible. The postnatal room was small and cramped but you are only
There a short time. I left
Early but I must say I delivered my
Daughter the year before at suburban in Louisville and it was nicer.
Also the food at good sam is not
Edible.

I second Jodie! You may have gotten her name from me, because I also have serious dental phobia. My husband and son go to see her now, too - we drive all the way from Milford because she's so awesome.

I see Dr. Bowen, too.
