Today the bug guy is coming to spray my home because I have those dreadful Silver Fish in the bathroom. The spray they use is safe for babies and animals even if ingested, but I'm still a little worried about him spraying while pregnant. Has anyone else had their house lightly sprayed during pregnancy?

If a baby can ingest it, I'd say its fine to have it in your home. Bugs are not safe, however. So many germs and diseases!

If they say it's safe, then it's safe. That being said, after he's done, I'd go run and get a coffee to let the house air out a little.

Like PP's have said, if it's safe, it's safe. At my office they used to use a bug company that wasn't certified, and didn't spray properly (I looked it up because it bothered me how much he sprayed in my cubicle). There wasn't any harm from the chemicals,

I am sure if it is safe for pets and babies it won't hurt you but best to open some windows and maybe step out for an hour or so just in case
