XP from PGaL but wanted to update my friends over here too. This is my official welcome and congrats to the recent PGaL grads. So glad to have you here!
Since it's been weeks, I will post a toddler check in in a few minutes as well.
Hi PGaL. I wanted to throw out a quick update and hi. I have been completely MIA lately and now hopefully (not because I don't love you ladies but b/c it's time to get a move on) will be graduating soon. Anyway, I'm so sorry I haven't been around. The last month was the icing on the cake of a very stressful busy season for me at work and I was pretty much working and resting and that's it. I'm so glad it's over. In fact, I had a by Text-Enhance">complete breakdown the week following my big event due to a variety of reasons and I"m now only working a few hours/day until this baby comes. It's actually helping me be able to focus on the thought of going through labor and delivery and has allowed me to bring my stress level back down to a manageable level and mentally prepare for this baby. Everything is fine physically but stress-wise, things have been very difficult. And since I cut back at work last week, I actually physically feel better, which is good considering labor takes a lot of energy! I have an appointment this afternoon and am hoping for some progress b/c so far there really hasn't been any. I was induced with DD at 41 weeks and I would really like to go into labor on my own and NOT go to 41 weeks. It scares me b/c I just want this baby to get here safely and I worry about the placenta starting to age, etc. Being someone who charts, it's not like there was ever any question about my due date. Hopefully my Dr. can give me some options this afternoon.
Anyway, I've missed a lot on here the last month or so, and I"m hoping to catch up with those who have graduated on PAL. Congrats to those PGaL ladies who have joined us recently and those who now have rainbow babies.
