Nursing clothes.

For you ladies that have nursed before, what is your favorite brand/ style of nursing bra? Also, what are your must have items for nursing ie tank tops, shirts, lasinoh pads, boppy pillow. I'm a first time mom and my mom didn't breast feed so I need some suggestions.

I didn't buy a lot of nursing specific clothing. I wore a lot of stretchy tank top layers underneath regular shirts, cardigans or buttons ups. WAIT on nursing bras, your boobs are going to change sizes a lot between now and then. Get a couple of tanks

Stretchy shirts for sure were a must.  Lanolin for the first few weeks of nursing...I would rub some on my nipples every time I nursed and it only hurt for the first 2 weeks as opposed to 2  months like a lot of my friends.

Nursing tanks ... target were my fave.. and mostly shirts that button/zip/snap down, if I need to nurse out somewhere. It is easier and looks more discreet IMO .. to unbutton a shirt halfway and then just unhook a nursing tank.

I had Gilligan and O'Malley nursing tanks from Target I liked. Really, my nursing over was my beast friend if. Needed to nurse in a public place. It's hard to always wear something that's discreet when nursing, so I always had a cover in the diaper bag

I love the Target nursing tanks. At home I wore those instead of a bra. For nursing bras I bought the Gillian and O Malley from Target as well. Your boobs fluctuate in size so much throught the process, I couldn't justify spending a ton on a bra.

Honestly, I had the hardest time finding nursing clothing in my town! I ended up just buying a lot of tank tops to layer under my shirts. They work great for when you need to nurse in public. They cover your stomach while you feed the baby and you can use

I lived (live?) in Old Navy Tamis. They are such a comfy stretchy tank top that are great for layering. Also, the Gillian and O'Malleyl nursing tanks from Target are great too. I am also a big fan of v-neck tshirts.
