Giving LO Multi-Vitamins

My DS is a little over 6 months old and just started giving him multi-vitamins with fluoride.  I am supposed to give him 1 ML and the doctor recommended I don't give it within an hour of formula.  It comes in a dispenser and I've just been squirting it in his mouth an hour after his morning bottle, but he seems to spit it out all the time (and the stuff stains!!).  How do you all administer the vitamin if your LO takes it?

    My doctor didn't say anything about not giving it with formula, and the directions on the box say it can be mixed with cereal, juice or other food. I have been mixing it with her nightly bottle of formula. She also has one oz. of prune juice mixed in due

    We have nasty vita burps after it. Don't do the whole dropper if not mixing. I do it in 2-3 squirts.

    Hmm... My pedi didn't say anything about giving LO a vitamin...Should I be?
