My 29 month old is kind of a picky eater. There are staple foods that she will always eat. I feed her these for breakfast and lunch but for dinner I don't make her a separate meal in addition to what my husband and I eat. She pretty much never will eat it though. For example tonight I made grilled chicken and zucchini tator tots. She refused to try it. She never eats meat unless I can somehow hide it in something she likes to eat. Her staple foods are eggs, yogurt, pears, bananas, bread, Mac n cheese, pizza, and snacks like Cheerios, goldfish. My question is ... Is it okay that she typically doesn't eat dinner because she won't eat what we do? Or should I make her something she will eat. She doesn't complain of hunger after refusing dinner but I hate putting her to bed knowing she didn't eat anything.
