Laparoscopy WWYD? Loss mentioned

I started seeing a new RE around 10 weeks after my preterm delivery, and at that time I was still spotting. He ordered a round of Provera to 'clean everything out' but mainly to also get cd 2 bloodwork and a sonohystogram. Well, the sono showed something still in my uterus so I am going to have to have a hysteroscopy to look at it/remove it.

Question... He presented me the option of also doing a laparoscopy at the same time to look for endometriosis as a possible cause of infertility. This would be a belly button incision, so not just up through the vagina. He says he isn't necessarily concerned that I have it, but considering all that I have gone through it doesn't hurt to rule it out before moving on. Would you do both procedures??

Yes, I would definitely. There's several on here who've had lap done, recovery from what I read is around 5 days, I actually saw the lap video on youtube, you might want to check it out - I personally like to see procedures before getting them done. I act

I would do both. I had a lap done to remove cysts. the incisions were very small and recovery wasnt as painful as I expected. I also got to watch a video of it later, which was pretty neat. HTH

I had both done at the same time and was able to return to work a week later. I would do it! Will insurance cover it? I had cysts removed so most was covered.
