I had my son at 32w4d. I had steroid shots and he was breathing on his own when he was born. He stayed in the NICU for 25 days and did great. Girls usually progress faster than boys do in the NICU. At 32 weeks your baby will be fine. It's a little scary a

I had my son at 33 weeks almost three years ago. Although not ideal, as others on this forum hav said, 32 weekers do well in NICU, especially if you've had time to get two rounds of steroids on board. I was scared just as you are, but my son really didn't

I had my first around 32 weeks.  He is now a healthy and crazy little two year old.  He did spend 16 days in the NICU and was a little behind on meeting milestones but today you could never tell he was a preemie!

    Good Luck and Prayers

I had my first DD at 33w and my second DD at 34w. Both had about a 2 week NICU stay. My first only got one steroid shot, but my second got both shots. Definitely think the shots helped. Definitely check out the preemie board. Praying that you keep baking
