I really want to get into shape after the baby comes and I am one to get discouraged easily. My head is what has always stopped me from my fitness goals in the past. How can I keep my head in the game and not get discouraged?
Personally not focusing on weight inches or clothing size help me. I focus on day to day activity, like walking, or eating healthier etc and then the results usually surprise me.
In April of 2007 I was 240lbs (5'6"). I joined the free website sparkpeople.com. I lost 100lbs (in 11 months). It helped me make goals and track nutrition and exercise. It had lots of articles and tools as well as message boards.

I think you have to figure out what motivates you in other areas of your life. For example, I really like setting small, achievable goals and reaching them. I'm motivated by visual representations of my goals, so for example, when I go for a run,
Last time around I did the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and it worked out great for me. It was nice that it was on a schedule because that helped to hold me accountable. I also found a workout buddy which was probably the only reason that I stuck with

I liked Group X classes at my gym. If you continue to go you build a community of people and you look forward to seeing them and getting your workout in. Find an activity that you like also helps a lot. I'm going to go back to teaching my Zumba classes an
