I have very fond memories of boxed mac 'n cheese...it was the only thing Dad could drum up when my mom had to work late. He made it super fancy [and balanced!] by cutting up hot dogs into it.

I buy about 4 boxes a month of the Kraft 3 cheese mac n cheese.  So ridiculously good.

Have you tried the Back to Nature brand? I actually like it better than Annie's! If you can fid it give it a try

Note: I don't like a strong cheese taste and I find back to nature to be a little lighter.
