Hard IF Day - And a Question....

Ugh. BFFN today. I went infor betas as instructed, even though I was certain that IUI #2 didn't work. A part of me was holding out hope that the HPT's were wrong and that the blood test would show something different, and now I feel incredibly stupid. Today is one of those days that I just feel like I can't keep doing this, but the alternative isn't something I want either. I plan on letting myself have a bottle of wine and one night of self-pity before jumping back in to IUI cycle #3. Grrrr.

As a semi-unrelated question; my sister is also dealing with IF, which I hate for her. Her Dx is anovulation, and she's been unresponsive to Clomid and Femara, so her last two IUI cycles have been cancelled and her RE wants to start her on injectibles. I have heard in the past people mention about donating un-used injectibles, but truthfully, I didn't pay attention because it didn't apply to me.  Does anyone know anything about this? TIA!

    I'm so sorry you got a BFN.  Having to go in for betas when you already know is the worst!  Definitely have that bottle of wine!  ((GG))  <3

    There is an OOP meds program on the bump, but it's really only for active bump

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    I'm no help on the injectables, just wanted to say I'm sorry you're having a bad day. If sucks. Enjoy your wine!

    TTC #1** Went off BCP July 2011

    Me: 31 DH:31


    Jan 2012 Dx PCOS by OB/Gyn


    July 2012 - Tests with RE confirmed PCOS and annovulation

    2 rounds of clomid, 5 IUI's using clomid + injectibles. 

    Surprise BFP while on break cycle due to cysts.  It's a girl! Baby "E" born on Thanksgiving Day 11/28/13

    I'm sorry about the BFN.  I think wine is just the ticket.  

    As for the meds OOP donations Jschwind already addressed that it's for members of the community - but like she said she should ask her RE's office because many have unopened v

    Also have her look at ivf meds.com, they are in England. Shipping takes a little longer but they are cheaper by half of any company I have found here in the states.

    Kati, crystal and schwind thank you so much for the recos. I will definitely pass along. Thanks to all for the encouragement. I hate that everyone can relate to the feelings, but love that Ihave a group of ladies that understand.

    After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
    Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
