How many embryos?

As my vacation is coming to an end and I go home to my last monitoring appointment on Monday, I am hopeful we will make it to our transfer one week from today. Because my lining isn't optimal there is little chance it's above a 7, I'm not sure about how many embryos to transfer. My dr is leaning towards one because of my age and that my uterus has successfully carried two pregnancies. However, I've never had lining issues until this go around so I'm afraid with my tissue damage, one won't work. I'm also afraid my husband won't want to try an FET again because this has been such a long, difficult road. I'm totally fine with having twins and part of me would love it, but I'm also nervous about the possibility if having a high risk pregnancy. Although I know, transferring two doesn't mean they'll both take or that if both do and that only about a third of two embryo transfers actually result in twin births. Sorry this is long. I'm torn. Any thoughts, opinions are appreciated. TIA

Such a hard decision! My fet is tentatively scheduled for April 11th and I'm having trouble deciding whether to do one or two. During IVF my re strongly recommended one bc my embryos were so great, but since that pregnancy led to a miscarriage he is say
