First period... Or something else....

I'm 5 weeks PP, bleeding had practically stopped (and changed colour). As of yesterday, I've had bright red bleeding.  Is this my period or something else? Should I be concerned?

My pp bleeding has started and stopped at least half a dozen times. Sometimes very fresh looking sometimes any color from red to brown to yellow. It's totally normal. Apparently they don't worry about pp bleeding until after 8 weeks at my OB office.</p
