I would just like everyones opinion on something. At the end of May we will be on vacation for 2 weeks staying with my mother in law. My husband and MIL seem to think it would be okay to use the baby stuff she has saved in the basement for my little one (play yards, walker, high chair etc.) I have nothing against used items, I'm just worried about all the new safety standards that I doubt these would meet. I've tried explaining this to my DH but all he says is he and his sisters are still alive with no major injuries. Am I being unreasonable or am I in the right? His youngest sister is 24 years old so everything would be at least that old. We will be driving from FL to MI, so it was brought up that we would use what his Mom has saved up there instead of loading it up in the car.
