what is their memory like at this age?

We just got back from the Dr and G was perfectly fine until we got called back and rounded the corner and she saw the scales etc. Then she started flipping out, before I had even put her down .

She did this last time as well and the Dr mentioned that maybe she remembered getting shots so she had a bad association with the office.

Is this even possible at such a young age, for her to remember something that happened  3 months ago?

 

*she's always a little timid around strangers but full scale come aparts are very rare.

I don't know, but we had the same issue at L's 18m appt!  She usually cries during her shots, and gets upset at being held down to get measured, but this time she screamed through all of it!  I don't know what the deal was.

Well, I'm really sorry that you guys had such tough appointments too but I'm relieved to see that we aren't the only ones.

It sucks because I feel like we're getting shortchanged on the appt because she's such a mess it's hard to think about que
