E clampsia

in High-Risk Pregnancy
Has anyone on here been eclamptic? I'm three days PP and my feet are HUGE. Bigger than ever during pregnancy, I have shortness of breath, and chest tightness. My BP is normal though. Also in one foot I can feel a pulsating that feels like water squirting inside my foot. I'm worried.

    Eclampsia means seizure plus the pree stuff. you can still have pree after delivery. swelling post partum is normal but shortness of breath is not. if you are worried you should call your doc.

    I am an OB nurse and can tell you that eclampsia means you have the pre-eclampsia plus have had a seizure.  So if you haven't had a seizure you aren't eclamptic.  Alot of times after you have pre-eclampsia even after baby is born, you can still
