Intro

Hello! I have been lurking on this board for quite some time and decided to come out of hiding. My due date was January 2, but my son ended up being born on December 20. I followed Jan.2013 throughout my pregnancy, so I feel most at home here.

This is my first child and it has been challenging for sure. He had really bad colic and acid reflux which caused him to cry pretty much whenever he was awake for the first 12 weeks. We are finally seeing some improvement (with medicine, a formula change, and the passing of time), but things have been much harder than I ever imagined.

I am a teacher and currently on my last week of maternity leave. When I go back to work on Monday, my son will be in daycare. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all!
