Unusual and troubling swelling

I have, like most of you, struggled with swollen feet and ankles nearing the end of this pregnancy.

But last night, my left ankle/foot went back to its pre-pregnancy "bird-bone" status, and my right one swelled up twice as bad.  Today, I'm icing it, elevating and wearing compression socks and my right one is still huge and kind of painful. 

Boo.

I'm having an induction tonight so obviously I'll bring it up to doc / nurse as soon as we get to the hospital, but this is sort of troubling to me.

When you sit/lie down, do you have one foot higher than the other?

I tend to let my right foot hang off the bed (I know, I shouldn't), and so it's always more swollen than my left, which is constantly elevated. Maybe that has something to do with
