This week I've been in "try to find a way" mode and really need to go back to "pretend I'm not infertile" mode. I did some googling on donor embryo programs just to see if I could find any info other than what I have before and came across a cryobank with a donor program. The program coordinator was out of the office earlier this week so I finally just spoke with her and their estimated wait time is...3 years. I've already had 3 years of IF, I would really not like to wait 3 more.
I found out awhile back that my insurance participates in a discount program that includes IVF but it seemed kind of sketchy so I didn't look into it too much. I decided to revisit it this week. There is only 1 practice in my area that participates and they have their OOP global IVF price listed on their website. Long story short the "discount" program would cost more than the provider's OOP global price!
DH is still having a hard time letting go of having a biological child and moving forward with embryo adoption. He also doesn't want to spend the money on IVF because he doesn't believe it will work for us. So back to my regular schedule of doing nothing IF wise. However, I am on CD 19 and no sign of AF so at least there's that bit of progress in the wonky cycle saga.

Have you looked at California Conceptions??Another girl on IF uses them and got embryos really quickly. It hasn't worked for her yet and I don't know any details on their prog

Have you checked with Pacific NW fertility? There is a PgAL/PAIF that used them.... it's a bit of a different process. Basically they get eggs from donors and freeze them... then thaw as needed.&

Oh DP, my heart just aches. I remember being in a similar situation with DH not being completely on board and feeling like we were going nowhere with prospects. I hope YH finds a way to come around and you both can find a plan you're comfortable with.
