So I'm a StM and by baby is 8mon and I'm just now getting into CDs. I'm actually kicking myself bc they're so easy. Why have I waited this long?
Anyway, I have Charlie bananas, an itti bitti AIO. And flips w organic pre folds
So far, flips are my favorite bc they are so slim, fit LO well, and easy to use. My LO is big...23lbs at 8mon...so the CBs and itti bittis are kinda bulky and don't fit him well.
So anyway, since I've figured out that I like covers and pre folds, what other brands are similar? Any other soaker options? Where is the cheapest place to buy? And should I sell the diapers I don't love?
Re: Hi again! Flip help please
A similar system to your Flips is Grovia. As for soakers look for hemp. Hemp absorbs more and is less bulky than other inserts/soakers. BUT be aware that more absorbency means more bulk.
I would personally sell the one

What just happened in my diaper?!

Well Grovia and Best Bottoms inserts snap in so I don't necessarily think mixing and matching would be as effective. The Gerber prefolds you could tri fold and lay in the cover (but you don't need a hyrid/AI2 cover for that any cover would work).

I've never tried them, but you might be able to get away with using your Gerber prefolds, if you coupled them with an additional doubler/soaker. Just something small to add a little boost. I guess it would depend on how heavy of a wetter yo
