Cloth Diapering

What to store cloth wipes in?

Hi All,

Been using disposable wipes the past few months of cding until we ran out of our case. Now I am making cloth wipes from receiving blankets. I am making them big enough to fit in a regular wipe container.

Do you use a wipe heater and add water? regular container and spray baby?

If you have any special container or spray bottle you like can you please link.

I am also looking for what to put in diaper bag. If you have specifics for what works for you that would be great! thanks so much!

  • I have a price lionhart cloth wipe warmer that I use. I fold the wipes and pour on my solution. DS hates having acold butt .

For my diaper bag when I use cloth wipes I will use a small plsnetwise wet bag.

  • I use an old disposable wipes container.  I broke the top off of it and just set a whole stack of dry wipes in it.

I use my peri bottle from the hospital to wet them.

In the diaper bag I carry a handful of dry wipes just stuf

  • At home I store the wipes dry in a basket.  I wet as needed with a peri bottle.  I bought more in the travel section in Target.

For out and about I keep wipes dry in a small wet bag (with a new diaper) and use either CA Baby Diaper spra

  • I use the Munchkin wipe warmer and just lift the whole top off. I also keep a basket of dry wipes that I wet with homemade solution using a peri-bottle (like the ones they give you in L&D) that I got on Amazon for a little over a dollar. For travel, I

  • I use an old wipes container at home. I make wipe solution with Washy Wafers, fold the wipes so they come up like disposable ones and pour solution over. In the diaper bag I have dry wipes and applecheeks bum spray.

  • I use spray bottle and dry wipes.  I do the same for at home and in the diaper bag, but I also keep a small package of disposable wipes in the diaper bag.
  • I use an old wipes container and have them pop out.  They are pre-moistened with water, baby oil and baby wash.

  • I have an Oxo wipe container for at home. I like pre-moistened wipes, so I use disposable wipes for the diaper bag, since it turns out that we don't go through them very fast.

  • I tried the wet method, but prefer the dry method by far.  So I just keep the dry wipes in a small canvas bin, and have a little spray bottle with water that I use.

For the diaper bag I keep them in a travel wipes container with a travel siz

  • Great suggestions! thank you so much! I think I will try the dry wipes and spray bottle and see how that goes.

Probably a silly question, but you wet the wipe not the baby, right? so you are spraying the wipe until damp and then wiping like norma
