I've been thinking about giving Ava a daily multivitamin, just to "fill in the gaps" of what she doesn't eat on a daily basis.
Is this a crazy idea? Is she too young? Are there vitamins available for 16 month old toddlers? All of the ones I found said 2 or older.
At home, I feed her as healthy as I can. She loves fruit, cheese, yogurt, raisins, noodles with sauce, soup. My mom babysits her during the day while we are at work and I know she gives her a lot of junk food.

Re: vitamins?
Up until 1 year we gave LO a liquid mutlivitamin, and our pediatrician said to stop at one year and try to feed him balanced meals to get vitamins from his daily food.
if your mom gives more junk food, I think a multivitamin would be a great id
