Type 1 diabetes, surrogate?

Hello! I am new here. I have type 1 diabetes (among other health issues) and am thinking tentatively about looking into a surrogate--possibly in India--when and if my husband and I decide we're ready for children. Is anyone with type 1 considering (or has done) the same?
