So, I want to be environmentally friendly and use cloth diapers instead of disposable, but since I may have to go back to work in as little as 6 weeks after I give birth (and will have zero time for the added work), I've looked into getting a diaper service instead.
They have some really eco-friendly companies in my area, and they cost about the same as purchasing disposable diapers (about $80 to $100 a month). They basically give you a diaper pail, then come once a week to pick up the dirty diapers and drop off the clean ones.
Has anyone done this before? Pros and cons?

We used a diaper service the first 3 months. The prices were the same as you quoted and yes, it is about the same as disposables. At least our service you had to either buy or rent (from them) your own covers and launder them at home.
