I went nuts after dinner. Could.not.stop.
It started with putting DD's clothes away. I must've glanced around her room and thought, 'OMG, how am I going to fit another kid in here.' Before I knew it, I had cleaned out her toy box, shelves and armoire. One bag of toys for donation, one bag of garbage.
I moved on to her bath toys. Threw out a bunch of nasty ones, washed a bunch, washed out her toy basket. Moved on to the living room. Cleaned out her toy basket and threw out a bunch of odds and ends, put things back with their rightful pieces, organized everything. Finally, grabbed all her random art supplies that were all over the house and made an 'art basket' with all her pads and coloring books and sticker books, put all her loose crayons and pencils in a pencil bag, and neatly tucked it away in the pantry.
I'm proud. But it also made me realize that there's SO MUCH to do, lol.
Re: Woah, first nesting urge.
Yay nesting!
If mine could kick in next week to prepare for closing on our house & moving, that would be really great.
Proud Mama to Mickey (12.03.09) and Nemo (06.06.13)
I started doing little things on the weekends when I can and while I'm glad to have crossed things off my list, somehow it just seems to keep growing. Darn it.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
Nice
I can't wait for my nesting urge to start so I can actually maybe get stuff ready for baby. So far the crib is assembled...and the rest of the apartment still looks like we just moved in, even though it was over a month ago.&nb
Good job, woman!
Reading this makes me realize that I have a lot of organizing to do before June
