So, I called my OB nurse today to see what I could do to try to help things progress. Usual answer of walking and sex.
Then she proceeded to ask [like three other nurses did yesterday] when I was scheduled for induction. I said I havent been. My Dr. is out of town, so
I asked would the Dr. covering do it.
Got a CB a few hours later and the nurse read me the email from my Dr. stating that if I want to be induced, they can schedule it for Mon. Or Tues. BUT my chances for a C Sec. are higher bc I do not have a favorable cervix right now [last week I was 1.5 cm dialated, very soft. Actually been tis way for weeks].
My due date is the 5th, so I will be 39 weeks this friday.
I am leaning towards just waiting things out, but then I asked if some womens cervix never become favorable and the nurse said yes. After that answer I am like, well dangit, I could end up with a CSec. anyhow.
Anyone else have a non favorable cervix when they were induced/went into labor [if thats possible?]?
FTM, TIA!
