Considering blogging again...please help

I haven't blogged throughout our journey and I'm ready to start now.  I probably won't update more than once a week but I want to get back into it.  I've used googlepages before.  Should I just go with that again or what's new that I should use?

I like Wordpress.com because you can easily transfer your whole blog to a hosted version if you want to have more control over everything. (That's what we did with ours.)
