Happy Medium in Infertility?

Just a thought I have had recently.....

 

You get mad because everyone is announcing their pregnancies on Facebook and everywhere you look.......BUT.....then you find out a friend/acquaintance is pregnant but they haven't announced it on Facebook because they don't want to hurt people like "us."  That honestly is almost just as bad as posting it, because then, it makes you feel like an ALIEN.  Oh, poor so and so....they still aren't pregnant. Although it does mean so much that they would reserve the Facebook postings for you.... Just such a crappy place to be in. 

The next sucky part of IF.... you see friends who still haven't had kids and have been married the same length as you and you've held onto that because you aren't the only one STILL without kids after 5 year ....well now they're getting pregnant.

We have remained SO strong through all of this...surgery, and 2 IVF cycles, one ending in a C/P, but lately you find yourself saying is this REALLY our life?  Am I really sitting here watching youtube videos of these couples doing PIO shots and thinking, wow I feel like they are my family because they are doing the same crazy things we are doing that no normal fertile person would ever even understand!?  Do I really have 5 or so friends that I have met from thebump and instagram Infertility communities?  

Sorry for this very random post, but it's my thoughts and I know almost all of you struggle with the same.....  Glad we all have these communities....xoxo

I'm in a social hospitality group where 3 out of the 40 members are PG. All of them 'accidents'. I went to a party over the weekend and ran off the the bathroom with a friend (not a normal habit). We haven't told anyone and I had to tell someone. Sadly

I feel ya girl!! No one truly understands how shy this problem is unless you are going through it!!! Hang in there and know that you are never alone! I've actually never felt more a part of something until I joined in the journey with all these strong

i can definitely relate to wanting to hang out with the you tube couples.  i want to talk to every woman in my RE's office and find out what their treatment protocol is as well.  lol.  very thankful that the bump is here to have us all come

I hear ya!! I had to laugh because I literally had just been watching youtube videos of people doing their own PIO injections. This is first time my husband hasn't been home to do it and I was terrified.
