How often?

Hey Ladies,

 

Just wondering how often you take your little one to socialize? My little man is 15 months and I am trying to get out more with him so he can play with children closer to his age. We try to do a class once a week and then a play date with a friend usually twice but some weeks it's just us hanging out. I feel like maybe this isn't enough.

DD goes to daycare and I take her to a music class once a week. Even at 17 months, she's really playing next to other kids, rather than with them.

DS goes to daycare full time, my mom takes him to music/dance class once a week, and we take him to Gymboree on the weekends or set up playdates with other parents.

I think you're doing just fine.  Honestly, at this age they don't even play together they play next to each other.  My DD is 15 months and she goes to the nursery at our church for an hour each week and does well.  She is also around her co

My son is 16 months, and I am a SAHM.

Depends on the week, but at least once, as much as three days a week we do a playdate or other outing.

She is in daycare so 4 days a week she is around other kids while I work. On weekends I take her out to local places like the Children's Museum where she can socialize also.

I think thats sounds fine as well. We only get out mabye once or twice a week ourselves so I am right there with you.
