I am not an EP or EB - I currently pump about 4 times a day and sometimes after LO eats - the rest of the time LO breastfeeds. I have been doing this for about 8 weeks now - and just noticed this week that nipples no longer point straight - they now point in different directions. Is this normal - I am pretty sure it is from the pumping and not LO (as have bee to LC early on was told he has a great latch). I have tried using all 3 size flanges that medela offers and am using the one that feels comfortable. I am concerned if I continue to pump my nipple will be permanently mis-shapened.

Re: Should pumping change the shape/direction of nipple
Bfing my first in football position caused mine to point out towards the sides. It happens. The price you pay I guess.
They did go back for the most part when I weaned.
