Conner has been fussy for the past 2 days. I want my happy non fussy baby back. I gave him gas drops. I have no clue what's wrong. I'm hoping it's a growth spurt
Did you read Dr. Karp's "Happiest Baby" book? If I remember correctly, 2 weeks can be when colic sets in. That book gives great advice on how to get baby calm & happy again through swaddling, shushing, etc.
Also, are you BFing or FFing? You may want to consider your diet if BFing or talk to the pedi about switching formula if that's what you're using.

GL!
I was getting ready to order that book. Unfortunately, DS hates to be swaddled. It makes him so mad.
I am bf'ing but I have not changed anything at all in my diet. I went to kellymom.com and everything there says diet has nothing to do with fussy babies.IDK, that is just what I read. He just wants to be held and has for the past 2 days. I tired to put him down for his nap and after 10 minutes he was up crying.
My guess is it's a growth spurt. My LC told me to expect one around 2 weeks and then again around 6 weeks (and again every month or so after that...) We spent a lot of time in the chair nursing during those times and walking/rocking/dancing. Ben's not a big swaddle fan either. I hope it only last a few days!

Did he want to be held more often too? I don't mind holding him..I just know I can't hold him all day every day.
He definitely wanted to be held all the time at that point. We could only set him down a couple minutes here and there. Unfortunately for me, he hated being in a sling or any other carrier at that point. But, I kept trying to let him sit by himself in a bouncy seat or on a blanket, and one day it finally worked again! Hang in there!

I just got my sling today and I am going to figure out how to use it. He's in the bouncy seat right now. I had to pee. LOL
