The vacation is over

So I know this was not a vacation but today I dropped the boys off for the first time at daycare.  I was so sad.  I cried like a baby all the way home.  I go back to work on Monday so we decided to do half a week this week so I could have a couple of days to get my stuff in order to go back.  I am hoping my shopping trip today for new work clothes cheers me up.

I cannot stay in the house today as I keep looking at the clock for the next feeding, checking their room like they were in their napping just to remember they aren't there and crying all over again.  At least they are only in daycare from 8am to 4pm.

Just needed to share somewhere it made me one sad mommy!   Please tell me this gets easier!

Aww, I'm sorry. I got teary eyed just reading that. I'm going to be a blubbery mess when I have to go back too.

Thank you ladies! I have called and checked on them so I feel better. Plus I have found some really nice sales so that is a good distraction. 5 hours and counting.

It will get easier.  Once you're back at work and settled into your new routine it will be better (at least it always is for me).  The boys will do great in daycare, and you'll love on them extra tonight.

Yesterday was my first day back at work but DH is home with DS this week. He starts daycare on Monday and I'm dreading it. Hugs!!
