Heading to the neuro today

DS1 has been screaming and slamming his head for a week now and it's getting worse.  He'll be playing perfectly fine and all of a sudden start screaming and thrashing and slamming his head and freaking out.  It finally passes and he goes back to himself.

We took him to urgent care sunday because he wasn't getting any better and they said his ears were red and his throat was a little red.  Days later of antibiotics and he's no better.  He's been getting up in the middle of the night a few times absolutely screaming and can't be cuddled or calmed until whatever it is passes.  I can't imagine red ears (not even truly infected) and a slightly red throat could be doing this).  We called our neuro and they can fit us in today.

I just hope we can get a plan to get him feeling better.

To my boys:  I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew

  • Good luck.  I'm curious what they say... DD was doing this a few weeks ago.  It started with red ears/ear infection and a lot of coughing.  Antibiotics didn't work for her either.  Her tantrums were inconsolable, she started crying
