NY Working Mommies!

Hi!  I've posted on my local board, but no one seems to be over there, so I thought I'd try here.  I work FT from home (have done so for about a year and a half) and have a DS who is 4 and 1/2 months old.  I have a nanny who comes in every day 9 to 4 to watch him.  Unfortunately, due to issues at her husband's job, she needs to find a position that offers health care. So now I am out a nanny.  Anyone in NY (NYC or Long Island) have a nanny?  How did you find her?  Can you recommend anywhere I should start my search? (My original nanny was a friend of a friend and I found her through word of mouth.)

    i've heard www.linanny.com is a good place to find a nanny on long island specifically.

    I am just starting to look for a nanny but a friend recomended craigslist and responding to the ads of a family who is trying to find a new family for there nanny.?

    ?

    I just started and have 2 interviews lined up already. If a busy mom would take the time to find something new for there nanny then it is better than just a random person. ?
