Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Sleeping question?

Forgive me, but I can't remember if sleeping longer stretches is something baby will naturally do on their own. DS1 was a great sleeper, DS2 wakes every 3 hrs at night. He's drinking 45ounces, just seems like that should be getting him longer stretches. Is this something baby will do naturally? How old was your LO before they started sleeping longer stretches? Any advice? TIA :

Re: Sleeping question?

  • I definitely noticed getting longer stretches of sleep around 3 months. My twins are almost 6 months and sleep from 7:30pm to about 4am. Feed then go back down till 7:30am. If your LO is drinking 4 to 5 oz, then he's still hungry. They're stomachs are sti

You ladies are giving me hope- my LO is 12 weeks on Saturday!
  • Baby's sleep schedule is unpredictible. DS1 slept 6 hrs at night from 2 weeks. I tried waking him up to eat because he was so little, but it was a waste of time. DS2 has been sleeping 7 hours at night since about 8weeks. Both boys hit 4 months wakeful.
