How much for a good babysitter?

Hi ladies! No dramatic WWYD's from me this week. 
Just an easy - how much would you pay the sitter? One of Pip's teacher's from our former DC contacted me and asked if we needed a sitter (why yes, yes we do!) and turns out she's available tomorrow night. She's fully trained for emergencies, is an elementary school music teacher in real life and temp-teaches for a good DC in town to help make ends meet. She has 3 kids (won't be with her on the job - they're spending spring break with Dad) and the HUGE plus is that Pip really likes her. DH and I won't be gone long - 2-3 hours and Pip will probably be asleep for at least an hour of that. So how much should we pay her? I offered $45 - and she seemed happy, but I'm not sure how this really compares. (I gave you guys all the details about her just so you know she's not a teenybopper from across the street.) TIA!
