Stupid Question

I know the posts determine your status, but what are the points for? And also I have tried time and again to get pictures in my sig, finally got outlines but they wont actually show. . . not sure if that one is just my computer though.

I think more interesting or highly-read/responded to posts get more points.

Your pictures don't show up on my computer either. Try looking at the New to the Bump board. Ambsies put together a lot of technical FAQs

That's where I learned to get at least the boxes lol thank you though. I posted there but no response yet. I kinda figured about the points, but it seems strange to have them if there is no reason.

Signatures are pretty much broken/hit-or-miss since one of the more recent updates.  I just tried to update mine - it let me delete what was there, but even with the "trick" others have suggested (hitting save rapidly a bunch of times), it still won'
