I saw your reply in the Epi post that the appt didn't go quite as planned.  Yeah, the antihistamines have made us delay stuff before too.  I hate that.  My allergist's rule is 3 days for the Benedryl though so maybe she's really not allergic?   FX!  Anyway, we've done the blood draw a number of times now and all have been traumatic except the last b/c they finally offered us the numbing cream.  It was a miracle, seriously!  You have to wait 30 minutes for it to work, but it's so worth it.
