stupid question about exercise...

ok, i just need to ask this. when you work out while carrying twins, do you ever sweat?

i have started back at the gym, finally, and am scared to get myself to sweat. doctor said i shouldn't be out of breath at all.. but i'm not sure what that means, because unless i'm working really hard, i can still breath. she said that if i'm out of breath it will take oxygen from the babies and that's a no no. I get it..

 so if i can still sweat, then maybe i'll feel a little better about my workouts?

  • I was told that I could get out of breath but I should still be able to carry on a conversation. I think it's different for everyone. I was always listening to my body and would stop or slow down when I needed to.

  • I was only allowed to exercise in the first trimester, but I was tokd I should be able to carry a conversation comfortably and my heartrate should not go over 120. I didn't really sweat ever because I couldn't do my regular workout with those restrictions

  • yesterday, my hr high was like 132 or 135.. but i seriously felt like i was not doing much.. but i felt if i pushed harder, i'd be sweating and/or out of breath.
