Pregnant after a Loss

Today is a bad PGAL day... *Update*

I noticed I haven't felt movement really since yesterday afternoon (which they were REALLY light). I haven't done the doppler in over a week (it's a record!). But, I've been under a lot of stress since my mom had been diagnosed with Cancer last week. And not feeling Victoria has me scared all of a sudden. I felt her a lot the day before yesterday, I think it was. Now nothing :(. I'm sure everything is fine and she's just sleeping away. But why oh why can't we all have that innocence and just shrug it off?!? I look forward to delivering her at full term all happy and healthy. <3

Update: First of all, thank you all again for the beautiful thoughts for my mama. Secondly, Victoria is kicking :) Guess she was just sleeping away for nearly 24 hours. I will still use my doppler for reassurance. She must've thought it was already April Fools day. Silly girl.

  • *Deep breaths* Im very sorry about your moms diagnosis and understand why your feeling so stressed and emotional. To set your PGAL mind at ease I would use the doppler to give you some peace of mind. Its a hard thing always worrying about our LO and alway

  • I'm so sorry about your mom's diagnosis.  That has to be a lot of stress for you right now.  I would think using the doppler would help a lot at this point, so I don't think you should feel bad or guilty about doing so.  Either way, I hope

  • Don't stress about using the Doppler. I use mine still whenever baby boy has a slow day. I know he is probably just in a weird position or taking a nap but it makes me feel better, and that is worth it to me.
