Bedtime

When did you start implementing a bedtime routine? DD is 3 weeks old and I am thinking maybe at the one month mark. Right now I am just enjoying her sleeping on my chest until I go to bed around 11 or later. With DS I think we started around a month but it is such a blur!

  • We started around 1 month or so I think. We start her nightly routine between 630 and 730. Bath or wipe down, diaper, pjs, swaddle, bottle, rocking, and then into her crib. It's worked well for us and her. It's given us a nightly routine and me and DH a f

  • I also should have asked STMs how they handle bedtime. Do you put one to bed and DH takes the other? Different bedtimes? DS is almost 1 and DD is 3 weeks so they both would need similar routines.

  • DS will be 8 weeks on Weds., and I would say just in the past week have we seen a "bedtime" emerge.  Right now our routine works out that he gets a bath or wipe down, massage with lotion, swaddle, bottle, rocking if he isn't already TKO'd, then in

My oldest goes to bed at 8pm. So my LO is long asleep by the time I start the older ones routine. If it's a bath night my husband handles bath time starting at 7:30. If he isn't h

  • We have been putting DS in the PNP after he eats, usually between 9:15-9:45pm.  As soon as we started this, he started doing a 3 1/2 to 5 hour strech instead of a 2-3 hour. He gets a bottle (that DH was feeding him at 11:30) an

  • DD is almost 11 weeks and goes to bed at 9 to 10 and sleeps straight through until 7 or 8 am. We don't really have a routine. We tried to put her down earlier but she fusses and wakes an then it always ended up being 9 or 10 when she finally fell asleep s
