I forgot to add this one in my list from earlier. I like it because its classic, biblical, good meaning and it has the "nathan" in it. We wanted Nathan but DD is already Natalie, so yeah.. too close.

My brother's name is Jonathan, so I'm partial to that spelling. His MN is Christopher, which I think flows nicely. Other MN suggestions:

I agree on ditching the "h" - but otherwise this is one of my favorite boy names! We also must have similar tastes in names because our DS is Nathaniel so we are going to have a similar issue with naming #2.
