Back on the bandwagon

I'm 36w today, and after a huge blowout with FI over the weekend, we calmed down and discussed a lot of things that had been bothering each of us for the last few months. It involved a lot of crying.. But one of the things that I felt like I totally compromised on was agreeing to just get an RCS, so I reiterated and made it clear how important it was for me to try and VBAC, so tomorrow at my next OB appointment, we're going to let her know that if I go before my scheduled RCS date, I would like to try to VBAC (She is totally on board and said I was a good candidate right at the start), but if I don't and baby stays in til the surgery date, then I will just go in for the surgery.

I'm so excited, and nervous at the same time, I'll be happy either way it happens, and if things don't go as well as planned if I VBAC, I won't feel bad about getting another c-section either.

Thanks ladies! The one thing FI is scared of is not being able to be in the operating room with me if I wind up needing another c-section anyway; The OB said that if they put me under that he wouldn't be able to be there, but if I'm awake it's all good. H
