Acne that won't go away

Any one's LO had acne on their cheeks/face for an extended period of time? Can anything get rid of it? 

I try to wash her face with soap/water every day (since she only gets baths twice a week), but it doesn't make a difference. The pediatrician says it's nothing serious and will go away in time, but I still worry about it. I haven't seen anything like this on other babies her age (7.5 months)

    My dd has eczema and breaks out frequently! We put hydrocortizone cream on her patchy cheeks and wash her face with cetaphil wash on her face.

    I'm lurking from the 36 month board, but when I stopped wearing lotion on my arms and washing his face with soap, the acne went away. I ebf and often use a cradle hold so that's where I got the idea to eliminate my lotion. Anyway, it's worth a try.
